Job description

​Position Overview:

We are looking for a diligent individual to join our team as a Payment Operations Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing various daily transactions and reconciliations, participating in payment projects, drafting procedures, and providing operational support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily SWIFT/MEPS/GIRO/FAST/PayNow transactions promptly and accurately, including managing customer inquiries and non-STP items.

  • Reconcile nostro accounts daily.

  • Contribute to payment-related projects and system enhancements, collaborating with stakeholders, generating requests, drafting and executing test cases.

  • Develop and review payment procedures, and conduct training sessions for the Operations Team.

  • Support Treasury settlements, fixed deposits, loan operations, and other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with at least 5 years of experience in payment operations.

  • Must have a good background in payment channels, including regulatory compliance, best practices, and industry trends; adept at handling complex payment scenarios.

  • Experience in project management, with a proactive and self-motivated approach, and strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Quick learner, able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, with a high sense of urgency
