Job description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a diligent individual to join our team as a Payment Operations Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing various daily transactions and reconciliations, participating in payment projects, drafting procedures, and providing operational support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute daily SWIFT/MEPS/GIRO/FAST/PayNow transactions promptly and accurately, including managing customer inquiries and non-STP items.
Reconcile nostro accounts daily.
Contribute to payment-related projects and system enhancements, collaborating with stakeholders, generating requests, drafting and executing test cases.
Develop and review payment procedures, and conduct training sessions for the Operations Team.
Support Treasury settlements, fixed deposits, loan operations, and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with at least 5 years of experience in payment operations.
Must have a good background in payment channels, including regulatory compliance, best practices, and industry trends; adept at handling complex payment scenarios.
Experience in project management, with a proactive and self-motivated approach, and strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Quick learner, able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, with a high sense of urgency
