Loan Operations Analyst / Associate (Digital Banking)

Job description

​Position Overview:

As a Loan Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in the efficient management and administration of loan processes handling corporate/ institutional clients. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation, facilitating loan transactions, and providing exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process loan transactions accurately and on time, including new loans, renewals, amendments, and payments.

• Review loan documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Coordinate with various internal departments, including credit, legal, and compliance, to facilitate the loan approval process.

• Monitor loan portfolio for exceptions and discrepancies, and take appropriate action to resolve issues.

• Provide support to Relationship Managers and clients regarding loan inquiries and requests.

• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of loan transactions and documentation.

• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to loan operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in loan operations or a similar role within corporate banking.

• Strong understanding of loan products, documentation, and processes.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing lending operations

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
