Job description
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations - Payments (B2B) to lead the end-to-end operational functions across their Payment systems.This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, service stability, and compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a culture of proactive risk management.
You will oversee key areas, including the service desk, business operations, onboarding services, and billing support for participating banks, with an emphasis on continuous improvement, team development, and operational readiness in a 24x7 environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the service desk, business operations, bank onboarding services, and customer services across platforms, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
Strategic Development: Design and implement operational strategies, processes, and procedures that drive efficiency, accuracy, and reliability in service delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Product, and other divisions, to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain service stability.
24x7 Operational Readiness: Ensure the team is prepared to manage incidents and maintain operational stability in a 24x7 environment, executing swift and effective resolutions.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow the Operations division, equipping the team with the necessary skills, tools, and resources to exceed performance expectations.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous enhancements in operational support processes to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices, maintaining the highest standards of operational integrity and security.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
At least 15 years of experience in operations management or service support within financial services or the payments industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong working experience in operations support, particularly in payment networks and platforms within the financial sector.
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on accountability and high-performance operations support.
