​We are seeking a highly experienced Head of IT Network and Infrastructure Lead to oversee our client's critical IT infrastructure in a dynamic banking/financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in "Run the Bank" operations, managing critical incidents, and interfacing with auditors and regulators. This leadership role demands a deep understanding of both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure, with a focus on ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT network and infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across the banking enterprise.

• Oversee the "Run the Bank" functions, ensuring the smooth operation of IT services that are vital to daily banking activities.

• Manage critical incident response processes, ensuring quick resolution of issues that impact business continuity and minimizing downtime.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring that IT infrastructure complies with industry regulations and standards.

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to protect critical IT services and data.

• Drive the transformation and modernization of IT infrastructure, including cloud integration, network upgrades, and security enhancements.

• Ensure the proactive monitoring and optimization of network performance, storage, servers, and data center operations to meet business needs.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including compliance, risk, and security teams, to align IT infrastructure with regulatory and business requirements.

• Oversee vendor management, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are met and that external partners deliver high-quality services.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to the infrastructure and network teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and network management, with at least 5 years in the banking or financial services industry.

• Proven experience in "Run the Bank" operations, ensuring the continuous and reliable delivery of critical banking IT services.

• Strong track record of managing critical incidents and leading response teams in high-stakes situations.

• Extensive experience working with auditors and regulators, ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as MAS, GDPR, and other relevant standards.

• Deep understanding of both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and networking technologies.

• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards in the banking and financial services sector.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex infrastructure challenges.

• Experience with IT infrastructure monitoring, automation, and management tools, as well as vendor management.

• Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
