Compliance VP / SVP (Global Hedge Fund)

Job description

​Charterhouse is currently partnering with a global Hedge Fund to source for a Compliance VP/SVP. Reporting to the Regional Head of Compliance, the incumbent will provide compliance advise to front office on research and trading matters, ensuring adherence to regulations and provide compliance oversight to regional office.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Regional Head of Compliance, the incumbent will develop and implement compliance policies and procedures. You will serve as the subject matter expert on regulatory matters, supporting business units on group policies and compliance monitoring activities and initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include conducting a risk-based compliance monitoring program and tracking regulatory developments to ensure timely implementation of changes in regulations and compliance policies.

You will also take ownership of developing and providing compliance training to employees, aiming to raise awareness and ensure they stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in with a minimum of 10 years of regulatory compliance experience in fund managers

• Ability to interpret and communicate laws, rules, and regulations effectively to ensure operational compliance within the business lines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proactive and highly motivated, with the ability to handle challenging situations with maturity.
