Manager / Senior Manager, Strategic Planning & Investments Valuation Modelling
Our client in the Technology segment is well backed by an established International MNC, and majority owned by a leading PE Fund. In view of continued international business expansion and growth opportunities, an opportunity has arisen for a new headcount based in their Singapore HQ as Manager / Senior Manager, Strategic Planning & Investments Valuation Modelling.
A highly experienced professional with proven corporate finance, M&A, financial modelling and valuations investment management analysis experience, you will report directly into the CFO based here.
Leading this strategic pillar as part of the senior finance leadership team and driving partnership across the C-suite functional heads, the role holder will essentially be spearheading financial strategic planning and transaction modeling, involved in potential M&A projects, own the group operating model and forecast, coordinate long term planning, annual budgeting and regular forecasting.
Developing the group business and financial KPIs build up in the operating model, as well as preparing reports on the financial and operational results to the management / shareholders, and appropriate analysis and recommendations on the business strategy execution will be expected.
In addition, the role holder will partner with the FP&A and Business teams on regular updates of the operating model, as well as ensure the Group budget and forecast model is reinforced with clear assumptions and suggestions.
Key Skillsets and Requirements:
Minimum 6 - 8 years’ Corporate finance, Valuation / Modelling, Corporate/business development, M&A / investment experience
Advanced financial modelling skills including the efficient and uniform use of Excel for Group reporting and analysis
Qualified CFA to develop a financial modeling is a strong plus (minimally Level 2 CFA)
Prior work experience in asset valuation team within a professional services firm will be advantageous
Ideally with prior working experience within PE Funds and/or investment firms
Well-developed and hands on valuation financial modelling techniques, and financial analysis expertise including cash flow modelling skills
Proficiency and an intuitive understanding of multiple business drivers, key value creation levers, and other quantitative metrics that support a full financial model
Ability to process and critically evaluate business models from both strategic investor’s perspectives
A quick learner to understand the underlying business and the implications to financial matrix
Strong technical knowledge in respect of accounting and consolidation principles, the application of IFRS and group accounting standards
Excellent time management skills and demonstrated record of working on a number of projects simultaneously
Collaborative hands-on working style, focused on achievements
Adaptable, tenacious, self-starter and self-reliant
