Corporate Strategy Manager with an International Consumer Goods MNC
As Corporate Strategy Manager for an International Consumer Goods MNC, the selected candidate will report directly into the Regional Finance Director seated here and work directly with the Executive leadership team across functions and geographies. The key success factor for this role, will be to define, develop, and execute corporate strategies, objectives and initiatives.
An experienced business strategist, the selected candidate will be deeply involved in overseeing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and deliverables, while fostering cross-functional collaboration to enhance communication and coordination across departments.
The position also includes analyzing financial data, budgets, and forecasts to provide actionable insights, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
Responsibilities extend to tracking the success of strategic initiatives, implementing KPIs, and generating reports to assess business performance. The role requires identifying risks and opportunities, recommending process improvements, conducting market research, and communicating financial and strategic insights to senior management.
The individual is expected to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic growth environment and be willing to travel regionally as needed. Based in Singapore, the role demands a proactive, execution-oriented approach to business development.
Desired Skills and Experience:
7 – 10 years of relevant strategy consulting and corporate strategy planning experience
Additional MNC experience in a strategy or financial or commercial or operational role, will be highly advantageous
Experience in working in consumer goods, retail or related industries will be advantageous
Experience of delivering company strategy projects or region-led strategy development in international companies, including new market entry / expansion and growth strategies
Experience in engaging with senior executives and managing / working with senior stakeholders
Strong strategic, structured and analytical thinking, yet skilled in translating concepts into practical outcomes
Strong business acumen with experience in strategic planning, financial analysis and business management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Project management skills, with capability to manage cross functional teams in multiple geographies that impact the organization.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and financial modelling.
